DataTables Examples: Tab between columns

I cannot seem to get this example to work on the datatables.net site. I cannot click in any cell to edit a row or set focus to any cell. I can select a row and click the edit button which brings up the form, but this is an inline example.

I'm using Chrome 69.0.3497.100 on a Mac if that matters.
